Nintendo has recently published its Indie World / Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase double feature presentation and as you would expect, it was chock full of indie gems and third party games with a little something for everyone. Straight out of the gate was a free update for the card game BalatrocalledFriends of Jimbo, which adds four new deck themes including The Witcher, Vampire Survivors, Dave the Diver, and Among Us. The Balatro: Friends of Jimbo free update should be available now on the eShop.
Other games shown during the Indie World portion of the showcase werePizza Tower, Coffee Talk Tokyo, Peglin, Wobbly Life, and one that certainly garnered attention, Date Everything!which tasks the player to conjure up romances with everyday household objects that have been personified, literally. Other notable game announcements include Neva, Moth Kubit, Morsels,andPiko Park 2.
On the Partner Showcase, we got to see upcoming titles from the likes of SEGA, Capcom, Konami, Yacht Club Games, Marvelous and Koei Tecmo. We got a look at Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX, as well as Capcom Fighting Collection 2, Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, Castlevania Dominus Collection, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, Yakuza Kiwami, and a whole lot more.

- Peglin:In this roguelike pachinko-inspired RPG, you’re on a quest to take revenge on some gold-stealing dragons. Aim orbs and hit pegs to deal damage in turn-based battles. Collect and upgrade a variety of different orbs as you progress, each with its own powers. The pegs themselves can have peculiar properties too, and rare passive power-ups called relics also add a range of game-changing effects. Aiming carefully, and combining the effects of orbs, pegs and relics can lead to some spectacular combos!
